This is a film is about Redzo, the man who pretended to be insane in order to escape the war in Bosnia in '92 and joined the group of psychiatric patients that were been taken to safety to a Hungarian refugee camp. Little did he know that he would spend 17 years locked up with them waiting for the Bosnian officials to remember to take them back. 

But it's not all dark as it sounds. Redzo is a lively character who spends his days writing letters to various international presidents asking for help, planning an armed robbery and hanging out with two of his girl friends.
