It has been an immense pleasure and inspiration to edit this little gem; inspired by the Young Vic theatre’s acclaimed production of Samuel Beckett’s Happy Days – Natalie Abrahami directed Mayday – which sees her reunited with the fantastic Juliet Stevenson as May. The film with a wide acclaim has been featured on The Guardian website.

I won Best Editing Award for ‘Good Night’, at the Colchester Film Festival 2013
The Jury presided by Mr.Terry Rawlings, whose scissors have shaped films such as Alien, Chariots of Fire and Blade Runner said the following:
“I loved the way in which the editor understood these girls so well. The pace was perfect, the quick cutting which added to the excitement of the
night of adventure until it suddenly goes wrong. And then everything slows down which adds to the sadness of the two girls who try so hard to be what they are not. The whole film is perfectly paced.”
I am honoured and humbled by these words. Massive thanks to COLCHESTER FILM FESTIVAL for sending the award, both to me and Muriel (D’Ansembourg) who won in the Best Script category. It’s good to know “Good Night” is still rocking the festivals scene! See the latest updates on festivals, screenings, and awards for Good Night HERE.
‘Playing the Fool’ goes to ZagrebDox 2013
